The Jade's Story
The Jade's single was a flop. The closest it came to success was being played on Murray the K's radio show, but on a day when Murray the K was off ill and someone else was filling in for him. Phil Harris got to record some solo sessions after that, but The Jade split up and it would be several years before Reed made any more records. Partly this was because of Reed's health and here's where things get disputed and rather messy.
