The Importance of Finding a Mentor

After graduating from UC Berkeley, I did my postdoc at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and then spent a couple years there in the used fuel group supporting the DOE as a staff scientist. And so for all of our nuclear undergrads that are listening right now, do you have a piece of advice that really stuck with you through your education into your current career? Yeah. Well, I think that everyone is probably going to learn this at some point in their career no matter what they do. But I really can't overstate enough the importance of finding a good mentor and finding a good team to work with.
