How Did the Old Timers Train?

Shana says, other than pull ups, how did the old timers train? Vertical pullup pulls. It's all the stuff that's missing in normal jim. When i was growing up, you go to the high school and there'd be all these ropes hanging from the ceiling. They climbed ropes. My my brotherand my brothers and his sister, they grew up on te p e system. Wore ropes. And even in basketball practice, there'd be kids doing rope climbing.
