How to Use Adpositional Phrases in English

Prepositional phrases can have odd syntax. They might be post positions in an otherwise prepositional. Ancient Egyptian was obsessed with distinguishing adverbial-like predicates from other kinds of predicates. Some languages do not like this at all and require you to link an adpositional phrase to its noun with some overt syntax.
