The Role of Age in Treating Traumatic Knee Injury

You co-authored an editorial in the Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery. It points out that perhaps the most important first step in treating is determining whether the injury is any cute traumatic tear or a degenerative tear. People who have acute traumatic tears are different of the miniscus, they're different patients than those that have degenerative tears. As we age, our tissues change and they get a degenerative miniscule tear.
