William thompson, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is under fire over his agency's vaccine study. The CDC has been accused of failing to protect children from mercury-tainted vaccines that may be linked to otism. Thompson sent a series of emails raising questions about what he was doing in order to carry out the study. He also threatened to hire an attorney if it didn't turn out as expected.
