The Limitations of Randomized Trials of Micro Credit
You can raise some questions about the studies that have been done of micro credit and also micro savings. We're working with a non-representative group of micro finance institutions. There may be a bias towards looking at countries where micro finance is growing very rapidly. I think this is actually a pretty good example of where when you get enough of these randomized trials, you can start to generalize with reasonable confidence.
