How Gymnastics Is Scored

We use write-ups in our work cards to keep track of what we're reading. We also use some ratings, but not really in the way that you would think. John is an expert on a very different kind of scoring system than what we use. He says people are always concerned with how am I maximizing my difficulty or given that difficulty, how am I doing it perfectly? And if that's how we evaluated applicants, then frankly, we wouldn't have a job.
