The Artificial Maintenance of Tension
A common trope, we see it a lot, when the tension can be resolved by one person telling the other person the thing that they're planning to tell them. You either need to back up and an il write these characters apart so they're not having the conversation, or you need to interrupt them with something that neither of them get a say in. The artificial maintenance of tension a really bugs me if you need to do something like that.
