The Importance of Quitting
Peter wants to quit. What do you want to quit on? Maybe a marriage, you're just ready to be done. Jesus has been there. He knows what it feels like to want to quit and he endured. When those who loved him most left him, he didn't quit. When he experienced physical pain beyond what was even imaginable to us, he did not quit. And ultimately culminating with the fact that Jesus had to die a sacrificial death on the cross to save us in our own depravity.
