The majority of desert areas are not sand seas. Majority of the areas are actually bare hard rock services or services that are basically covered in a layer of pebbles. Deserts can be rocky, gravelly, even snowy. They just have to have less than 25 centimeters of rainfall per year. Andy wants to know where the sand in sandy deserts comes from.
