The Biblical Doctrine of a Missionary Call

Call is used in the Bible hundreds of times if you include the meaning of just shouting out to somebody or summoning someone into your presence. There's literally not a single place in the Bible that uses the word call or calling like that. I don't think those special offices that are tied to specific stages in redemptive history are meant to be a pattern for individual Christian ministries.
