YouTube Premium Subscriptions - Is That a Good Idea?

I think a lot of creators should explore the element of subscription, but I also feel like on these platforms, we don't see that much revenue from YouTube premium subscribers. We see a lot more revenue from advertising. But that's because even though 80 million is a lot of people in comparison to how much money they make in a year, it's not that much. Like, if it moves to a largely subscription based platform, how do we get compensated? And I also wonder, will creators pay to upload content on these platforms? Because it's a business expense for us as we start to get bigger and bigger. It's a big can of worms to open.
