The Elder to the Elect Lady and Her Children

In Revelation, John refers to himself as an elder over a small congregation. The word "elect lady" suggests that he is referring to the woman and her children. If we do ascribe to the idea that John wrote the book of Revelation, you're going to see all sorts of language in there depicting the church as what? A bride.
