What's Next for ISKP?

ISKP gained greater momentum in 2016, 2017 before it was degraded and faced a series of challenges. ISKP increasingly became the target of American and Afghan forces while also having to fight the Taliban who were becoming increasingly aggressive toward the Islamic state. And so following this kind of general rise and decline from 2015 to 2019, the group found its legs again. This is what we're seeing now.
