The Importance of Character Consistency in a Show

I feel like I think our show is deceptively hard. When we get it right it should appear fairly easy when you watch it even if the puzzle itself might seem quite complicated and execution of it should be effortless. We subject every single script to such intense kind of scrutiny to make sure that that puzzle is more to tight  and feels fresh and and exciting and different. It's only when you really sort of know our characters in the world that you can you can run with it so we do as much as we can to support them.
