Is Dharmakirti a Buddhist Extraordinaryist?
Aquinas is best known for philosophical arguments for supernatural assertions. Dharmakirti has a huge section of one of his works devoted to a proof of former lives and future lives. I think that evolutionary psychology tells us much more than we realize our perceptions and thoughts are pervaded by, mediated by, and sometimes prompted by feelings. The old-fashioned distinction between affect on the one hand and cognition on the other hand is as wrong as it can be.
