The Role of Protocol in the Royal Household
There is no etiquette book or etiquette rule within the Royal Household. The convention slash protocol of the court of George III was completely different from that of Charles and Elizabeth II. Year two onwards, I think is where we're going to see slightly more tangible change - will state banquets go forward be white tie? For example, I suspect they might go down to black tie.
