As a member of a non margin group, should I avoid applying for jobs when they say they welcome applicants who are from marginalized group to support diversity? Are they saying we probably won't hire you? So don't waste your time. You can still apply to these jobs. No problem. When people try to make an environment welcoming to certain groups. Yes. It doesn't mean that they are saying you are not welcome. That's the opposite of what they're trying to do. They are trying to make the entire entirety of the world hold maybe racists and a few other groups. Welcome to to apply to those things and jobs.
