The Editorial Process Is Not Going to Get It Perfectly Right Every Single Time
When I was a young faculty, I felt like my work had been rejected and then they had published my exact work. In one memorable instance, an author published the same content in multiple journals that were exactly the same. And his perspective to me was just like, it's not as big of a deal as maybe think it is. It certainly didn't feel like it at the moment. But with hindsight now, it's been seven or eight years now. The editorial process is not going to get it perfectly right every single time. At least personally speaking, I'm okay with that. You're an example of someone whose output speaks for itself; you've got a wonderful body of work.
