Are We Really Talking About Bad Apples?
We are not actually reliably divided into good and bad people. We are all, in fact, incredibly influenced by our environment,. The european and even more so, the us. Were very, very individualistic cultures. How organizations set strategy is relevant for how likely an organization is to become involved in un ethical conduct. So rather than just acting as if bad apples spring up from nowhere and infect the rest of the company, we need to think about the design of the barrel - orchard that the barrel sits in.
