Are We on the Path to Defeating Ourself?

No one really knows whether this is going to happen or not, right? Some people think we're overblowing the risks. Other people think tthi we're definitely on the path to destroy ourselves within a hundred years. And there's a counter argument here as well, where you can say that humanity on the whole has gotten a lot better. There's absolutely been progress, like, there's no question about that, right?
