Did It Take to Get People to Falsely Remember That They Met Bugs at Disney?
We used a method in that study that's a little different from what we usually do. Usually we're using a stronger form of suggestion. We ted some fake ads for disney that included the bugs bunny character. That's all it took get some people to later remember that they met bubs at disney when they almost certainly didn't. And can this make a difference in real life? Have there been consequential court cases that have hinged on dubious testimony? Yes.
