Not only did I work in the fire and emergency medical space, I also worked for a company in Salt Lake City, Utah called CTA community treatment alternatives. Everyone that I interacted with was either high functioning or low functioning autistic. And you very quickly understand that the social contracts that are happening between two people, the vast majority of the time, they're not happening through oral communication.
