The History of the Garden Tomb

When they removed the casing over the, the, the bench tomb itself, they found an earlier slab of marble with a cross on it. And radiocarbonating has shown that this actually goes back to the fourth century AD. This is apparently a Constantinian or very shortly thereafter kind of, you know, construction overtop,. the stone cut tomb that was still standing there as a way of kind of marking this location.
