The Promise God Makes to His Daughters
Torese: Pharaoh thinks, if these midwives are standing in the way, assuming he doesn't believe their story or simply unnecessary. Torese: But to think of these midwives bringing other children into the world, god is providing to them children of their own. The chapter then ends, verse 22, with pharaoh charging all his people, saying, every son that is born, ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save. And that, again, is the promise god makes to his daughters.
