The Importance of Interaction With a Familiar

Bj: As a teenager had a spirit placed in my care sort of for me to learn to interact with them. I think that was kind of meaningful in the sense of like kind of thinking about how magic works. There are times where we might call upon certain spirits and we don't think about what their nature is or what their goals are. Bj: For anyone who's pretty active in magic it's a lesson that comes up the handful of times at least and is an important lesson. It can do the thing that we want but not quite be the way that we want it.
