What's Going on in the US?

The rich have never made anything like as much money as they did in the last two years. The economic impact of covid was absolutely enormous, like, phenomenally enormous. A lot of that money was given to furloed workers who ended up poorer than pre coved. But it's not all customers, right? Because if you're an ordinary person and most of your expenses are rent, mortgage, food bills, you still have that expenditure. So who has the biggest luxury expenditure? It's rich people. In my opinion, that is the cause of this inflation, that if you give a huge amount of cash to one small sliver of society, the rest of society suffers.
