The Story of Alva Nuans Kabeza Devaka

Alva Nuñans Kabeza Devaka was the leader of a Spanish expedition. He and about 80 men were stranded on an island near present-day Galveston, Texas. They would eventually find food and water from local Indians but not long before they turned to cannibalism for survival. Narvai's ships had never found any signs of his troops since he traveled over three months with them.
