The Skitians were of Indian origin, and they were also polytheists. They assimilated harmoniously into Indian society. When it comes to the Arabs and Turks, the Mughals are Turks themselves. So, we had the Turkshahi dynasties in India that actually defended India for a couple of centuries ago.
