"Emotions are sort of like detectors for different things and they give you information just like any detector," she says. "I find a really useful question: What is it that I feel like I've lost? And usually then I start to appeal that I very, very low anger,. But if I do have a flash of anger, I think anger is usually caused by feeling like someone's blocking you or trying to prevent you from getting single value."
