How to Measure Blood Pressure in a Child
Dr. Crystal Norrup talks about some common pitfalls in measuring children's blood pressures. Most of the time the measurement is not done correctly, she says. A lot of times too, the wrong cuff is used so that can also impact the blood pressure. It's better to size up than size down and you're more likely to overestimate the blood pressure if the cuff's too small.
