The Importance of Remorseful Decision Making
The New York Times ran a story about three-hour risk capital guys living their best life in Bali. It's just this like burning reminder to the people who did lose money, not the LPs because they're all a bunch of rich guys. The idea that once you've caused some harm in the world, then you should not evince any happiness or enjoyment feels incredibly sort of Calvinist to me. But I don't really think what we're talking about here is displays of conspicuous consumption.
