The Story of Dan Lafferty
Dan Lafferty married a Romanian non-Mormon immigrant named Ann Randack, whose job was to take care of Robert Redford's horses. When Dan punished his wife for disobedience, he would spank her in front of the children. But once Dan saw how much more he liked life with polygamy, he started wondering what else the church had scuttled. And after a little more digging, Dan Lafferty discovered the doctrine of blood atonement, which got filed away in Dan's brain for later use.
