Is There a Science Fiction Aspect to This?

i was wondering if you would comment on more of a science fiction kind of angle to this. Should people be worried that another country could somehow infiltrate one of these networks, and all our homes could be listened on? We have looked at a amazon closely, and a amazon, unfortunately, does not offer such controls. I do not know if other platforms like apple or google, or white sedge ap eyes or open access to these smart speakers, o maybe that can be a selling point for the next genration of devices. Yon i think for sure, i think privacy has become important. A lot more research in this direction will contribute to it.
