The BBC's Response to the Sun Story

I genuinely have nightmares about an ex or someone like that going like, okay, I can really embarrass her. And what could I do? It's out there, you know, it doesn't matter what you do afterwards, you're exposed. Is it then that the only line that we have for public figures is if they've done something that meets the threshold of criminality? Because I don't think that it is, but I can't think of a better one.
