Owen's Dream of Saving Lives

Divina: In the book, Owen is constantly talking about a dream that he has with penguins and nobody understands what he's talking about. What it's reminding me of is I remember telling this man that I was 12 or 13 and I told him that I wanted to be a writer. And he was just like so dismissive. We are not in touch. But I want my book to do really well and for him to like read about it in the New York Times because he will definitely remember that moment where he told me that we all want to be writers.
