The intervention is based off of the observation that actually us as Americans we are really bad at taking vacation but research shows that taking vacation is associated with greater creativity. Those who treat their weekend like a vacation do spend a little bit less time doing work and they spend a little less plus time doing housework, according to studies. The way they spent their weekends wasn't the significant predictor of their happiness when they returned to work on Monday.
