Urban Forests - What Time Is It Everyone?
A 60 foot wide myowaki forest has been documented to reduce sound pollution by 10 decibels within 10 years. The density of the small trees allows for better transfer of nutrients and water between trees, increasing the success rate. Shephendu Sharma argues that since grasses are not typically a part of the old growth stage of a forest, they shouldn't necessarily be included.
