The Debt Ceiling and the Negative Implications
Sally Kohn: I wanted to switch gears a little bit and ask you about the debt ceiling. There's going to be a lot more debt now issued for the rest of the year, she says. She asks if there are any possible negative implications in terms of liquidity draining out of the market or any other risks that could happen. SALLY KNOT: The answer is not quite as extreme as some people say it doesn't really matter. But this like sagging weight on asset prices that we're likely to see in the second half of the year will probably intersect with fiscal tightening.
