The Fall of Popular Dispensationalism
There's very few seminaries that teach dispensationalism, and there's very few professors that would call themselves classic dispensationalists. So effectively, we have kind of a zombie theology that just continues kind of marauding its way through pop culture but it's completely disconnected from any centers of thought or ongoing critical analysis. And even for those outside the Christian world, this is one of the so-called successes of popular dispensationalism: It's often viewed as the default Christian view on end times.
