Is Personhood a General Perfection?

Daron asks: Why think personhood is a general perfection that the necessary foundation would exemplify? If not, then we don't really have good reason to think it be perfect in knowledge. So there may be two different t strategies for thinking about this. One is by starting with things that exist, like moral communities, conscious beings and then considering again that hard problem of how you can construct such things purely from non moral, non conscious elements.
