What Should the Church Do With the Gentiles?
In all likelihood, the Roman congregation was a mixture of Gentile Christians and Jewish Christians. What should the church do with the Gentiles? It was such a big issue that the church even held as Synod. There wasn't not any Gentiles' circumcision in the ancient world. So this is one of the biggest questions in the New Testament,. outside of Romans even.
In this episode, Dr. Clark continues the Heidelcast series on Romans, beginning with a look at the "New Perspective on Paul" (NPP) and the question of Jews and Gentiles in the early church. Dr. Clark breaks down how the NPP affects Reformed theology and how to consider it critically, with critiques from Michael Horton and Charles E. Hill.
