The Importance of Sharing Artwork

Once you actually get on site and you're doing something, everything goes out the window. There's a million more challenges you could never anticipate. So there were certain things I couldn't draw. At the end of each day, everybody, all the viewers who were like journalists and NGOs would leave the viewing room to go through my drawings. And then they would put a stamp of approval with the signature on my drawing that says this has been approved and it cannot be altered after this.
