Is the Universe Ending?

The universe is 13.8 billion years old and it's not static so as it ages it's growing. As the more it grows the faster it goes I suppose you could say. We don't know exactly why that's happening but physicists invoke a phenomenon called dark energy to explain this. If you were to go to Douglas Adams's restaurant at the end of the universe it would have to be a very fast moving restaurant to keep up with the edge of the universe.
