The South Indian Mentality

The south Indian mentality itself is such that we like to just keep to ourselves and we're a lot less flamboyant I suppose. The other thing that I also realized is that the south Indians never really migrated so much. And therefore it made a lot of sense for a brand like Haldirams to say that it makes sense for us to be nationally distributed. It's unfortunate that there's actually no reference point. Why don't we build that brand? Because we were extremely passionate about South Indian cuisine, our food and culture with whatever we've grown up with. So that was only sort of the reason for us to say you know let's just do this.
