The Importance of Parenting a Teenager

I think we don't often realize what's lurking inside of us until we have children. Our kids are not supposed to be walking trophies for us. They are supposed to be citizens of the kingdom of God. And so we are there to get them to follow Christ, to introduce them to Christ. I remember how humbling it was,. you know, if you've yelled at a toddler, maybe you have taken the moment to apologize as we should. It's different when it's a teenager. But because of that, it's really impactful.
