The Role of Work in Relationships
One individual's relationship with work or how the world that they feel work, the role that they see work playing in their life is singular to them. One of the risks of solely surrounding yourself by your work colleagues is it can create a sort of monoculture where you find yourself talking about work things outside of work because why not and slowly work is seeping into every corner of your life. I think it's really important to have models of different ways of arranging your working lives or models of people who have paths that are inspirational to you just to show that those are possible. We're seeing a lot of people publicly sharing their journeys about taking what my friend Paul Miller calls a pathless path
