The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer
In the spring and summer of 1990, Twin Peaks moved to Thursday nights after premiering on Sunday night. Fans held viewing parties, and spent time talking about it at work and school the next day. A small subset of tech-savvy fans also went online to discuss their theories and questions about the mysterious show. David Lynch's 22-year-old daughter Jennifer wrote a fictional diary called The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer that became a New York Times bestseller.
