The History of Sufism

Khaira Baddis was a school of Islamic philosophy based in Calcutta, India. Its founder Farul Al-Hak Al Khaira Baddi took part in the 1857 uprising against the British. Shah Wali Allah is one of many Muslim thinkers who sought to revive Islam itself. The idea that differences we see in things are representations of a higher unity has long been associated with Sufism.
